Hubbards Hills is a wooded parkland in the outskirts of Louth, gifted to the people of the town in 1907 with a stipulation that the area be maintained in all its natural beauty. East Lindsey District Council have been responsible for the upkeep of Hubbards Hills since 1974, but there has been some regrettable deterioration in the condition of this important site during those years. In particular there are problems with tree management, and this is a matter of ongoing concern to local amenity groups such as ours, who believe remedial work is long overdue.
